Queer

I often use the word Queer in describing myself. It may be that it does not literally apply to me, depending on the definition. Am I gay? Well, I'll always say yes to that question, but some might say it is not true.

In 1971 I married a woman. Between 1974 and 1979 we had three children, two of them are still alive. I'm a father and a grandfather. Am I still Queer? Gay? Or am I bisexual?

Was being with women just a phase in my development brought on by my denial of my true nature? I kind of think yes, it was. I always did want to have sex with other males, from the earliest sexual thoughts I can recall. My mother talks about the way I professed a deep and abiding love for my imaginary playmate, another male, when I was a toddler.

Whatever. I'm queer, and if you have a problem with that, then you have a problem. I don't have a problem, I have a husband.
